Personal Profile & Classes

Kia Ora everyone. My name is Richard Tuhaka and I am a Teacher at Tolaga Bay Area School. This is my blog for my teacher portfolio. I have been learning about blogs and am updating as I learn. This year, 2016 I ma improving my blog space and added more pages to allow e to add evidence of how I am meeting the RTCs in my classroom and workplace.
This year I have 3 Science classes, 1 class at Year 8, 1 class of composite Year 8&9 and 1 class of Year 10 Students.
I also take English with my Year 8&9 Class.
I have a further 2 classes that are focussed on Sustainability. These are my Uawanui classes, the first class being a composite of Level 1&2 students and my Level 3 students are on their own.

Tolaga Bay Area School is a rural school with predominantly Maori students. We are situated on the East Coast of the North Island and our students have a range of abilities and interests of which we try our best to cater for.
